This year we are introducing a scheme whereby members can pay their dues by electronic money transfer. So if you are into internet or postal banking you can simply transfer the appropriate sum to the club bank account. Account details are:
| Bank Sort Code:
| 20-41-12
| | Account No.:
| 10889148
| | Account Name:
| Biggleswade Athletic Club
|
However, please ensure that you include your name in the transfer Reference Box so we can tell who's paid. Membership cards will be sent out at the end of each month. Alternatively you could set up a Bankers Order and pay the amount automatically annually. Again please include your name in the Reference Box.
Sandy 10 - Sun 29 Mar Entries are flooding in for this year's Sandy 10. In order to provide a safe and well marshalled event, we need your help with various duties on the day. As in previous years, if you would like to run in the event, we do ask that you supply another person (not a club member) to help with duties on the day.
Please keep the date free if you are able to help. It is great fun and marshals will be encouraged to wear silly hats again this year to ensure the runner's spirits don't flag!
Beds AAA County Cross Country Championships - 10 Jan A huge thanks to everyone who helped organise the cross country event on what turned out to be a very cold day, with temperatures well below freezing. Beds AAAs were very impressed with our slick organisation and have sent their thanks to all who contributed. We also had some notable performances in the races, with the highlight being our Senior Ladies team of Juliet Naylor, Fiona Hunter and Debs Bryant picking up the 2nd Ladies Team award.

The four ladies of Zoe Dawson, Juliet Nalyor, Fiona Hunter, Debs Bryant represented Bedfordshire in this prestigigous SEAA event, helping the County to 7th place from the 19 counties in the SEAA. It was remarked upon by Richard Inchley that this is the first time in many years that the county have finished a team in this event. Well done Biggleswade Ladies.
