Southern Mens League , Ilford, 5th May
This was the 1st round, and we were hosts at Ilford, so we
had to score and officiate as well as compete. The officiating and scoring took priority so we were a little below par with numbers, and the club came 5th only just behind Watford and Forest because of it.

UK Intercounties Championships , Bedford, 27/28th May
Alice Middleton competed with the best in the UK when she ran in the 400m. Some events had been cancelled due to the appalling weather conditions, but the 400m was not. With swirling wind and driving rain Alice ran in the second heat and came 6th in a performance that was average for Alice and did not proceed further into the final.
