Last month Biggleswade AC's, Leonie Brunning travelled across the pond to Harvard University campus in Boston, Massachusetts to take part in the historic Harvard-Yale v Oxford-Cambridge university athletics meet. Representing in the combined Oxford-Cambridge team, Leonie achieved a set of fantastic results. This included a win in the High Jump for the team as well as a Personal Best and new Club record in the Shot Put. Well done Leonie! The international sporting event began in 1893 and is held every two years, with the universities taking turns to fly over the Atlantic to compete.
