Sandra competes at European Masters Athletics Championships
Congratulations to BAC athlete and coach Sandra Ingham who competed at this month’s (October 8-19) European Masters Athletics Championships Stadia on the island of Madeira.
She was a member of a 550-strong Great Britain team at the championships which attracted a total of nearly 4,200 entries, from more than 50 countries, across just over 660 events.
Sandra took part in three V-65W events. Her best performance came in the javelin where she was very pleased to make the final eight after the first three throws and eventually finish 6th. She also competed in the discus (15th) and the shot put (19th).
